Purpose
The
purpose of our meeting planner and facilitator offerings is to unburden
managers with the challenges of designing and facilitating meetings, to
allow them to participate and focus the meeting on achieving the meeting’s
goals and objectives.
Overview
As
a meeting planner, Skip leaves no stone unturned in order to strategically
plan and execute your successful meeting. In order to ensure your meeting
achieves its goals, Skip will work with you and your staff:
• To design and develop the best time, place, and food requirements.
• To design and develop the vision and mission for the meeting.
• To design and articulate the necessary interpersonal and electronic
communications.
• To perform a thourough needs assessment and pre-meeting phone
calls with meeting participants to set the appropriate tone of productivity
and confidence in the meeting and its results.
• To collaborate with you and your staff to design the learning
goals as well as the action goals for the meeting.
• To ensure that appropriate human as well as other resources are
identified for execution of the meeting results.
• To design, develop, and implement a simple evaluation or survey
of your meeting’s participants to assess the performance of the
meeting facilitator as well as the levels of success that the meeting
achieved.
As
a meeting facilitator, Skip works collaboratively with you and your staff
to:
• Conduct a needs assessment to determine the mission, vision, communications,
attitudes, learning goals, action goals, necessary resources, meeting
evaluation requirements for the meeting.
• Communicate in the language of your organization and the participants
in attendance.
• Maintain positive and productive atmosphere as well as constructive
attitudes that create a team approach to your successful meeting.
• Accept responsibility for considering both the needs of meeting
participants as well as achieving the goals of the meeting.
• Work within the limits of your resources.
• Perform final evaluation through a survey of meeting participants
to assess whether the goals of the meeting are achieved.
